How does one get the tensioner pulley to slacken
off the belt for installing my new alternator?
I'm Replacing the alternator on my ford pick up and I'm trying to follow the diagram under
hood about rotating the tensioner pulley counter clockwise to loosen the belt enough to fit
over the new alternators pulley and im having difficulties rotating the tensioner. Any advice
would be appreciated. |

How do you bleed brakes?
After bleeding the brakes the calliper on the front drivers side locks when the brake is
applied. I have changed the calliper but the same thing happened again. The other three
callipers works just fine. |

Amber ABS light comes on when turning right!
When I start the engine no lights come on on the display until I turn the car to the right
then the amber ABS light comes on . If I shutdown the engine and then restart the car the
light disappears until it come to corner again - so far only to the right. I think the light
has stayed on though recently , despite my turning off the engine then back on , any
idea? |

My car is making a noise and I'd like to know
what's causing it!
My car started making a high pitched squeeling noise about 2 days ago, its coming from the
drivers side in the front. It started off being just an occasional noise but now it is
constant. My first thought was that it's the brakes, but I've never heard this sound before
so I just want to find out what it could be. Any help would be welcome. |
