Money Back Guarantee Terms and Conditions
As described below, individual private sellers who purchase our Full Selling Service are eligible for a full refund if they do not sell their vehicle for 79.95 over the GLASS'S valuation of their car at the time of listing when they meet all the following Eligibility/Limitations and refund process terms and conditions.
  1. The vehicle must have a 178 point inspection score of 96% and over.
  2. The vehicle being sold must be in the same condition as at the time of the inspection with no more than 1000 miles added to the vehicles mileage.
  3. If a service has become due under manufactures guidelines as a result of any added mileage, the service must have been carried out by the seller before the sale.
  4. If term 3 applies documentary proof of the service must be made available.
  5. The vehicle must have at the time of sale a minimum of 6 Months Road Tax and 6 months MOT remaining
  6. The vehicle must not be recorded by HPI to have had any extensive damage or be stolen/stolen recovered.
  7. The value of the vehicle pre inspection will be set by GLASS'S valuation for the vehicle, determined by its age mileage and condition at the time of listing.
  8. If a period of 30 days has passed since the time of listing and the time of sale a revised GLASS'S valuation will be required at the expense of the seller.
  9. The money back guarantee is not available to Trade sellers using our service.
  10. The money back guarantee does not apply to any sale of a vehicle that has been made using cash as a payment method.

Refund Process

Individual sellers who meet the money back Guarantee Eligibility/Limitation requirements may request a refund by following the process described below. Refunds will be granted only if all of the instructions below are followed.
Refund requests must be sent by recorded delivery and dated no more than 10 working days after the sale of the vehicle to, wheretobuycarsfrom.com Limited, CARIOCCA BUSINESS PARK, 2 SAWLEY ROAD, MANCHESTER, GREATER MANCHESTER, M40 8BB, ENGLAND
The following must be included with the refund request;
  1. The sellers copy of the sale receipt with the sale price and date entered and both signatures of the seller and the buyer.
  2. Contact details of the buyer including a landline telephone number.
  3. A copy of the Glass's valuation of the vehicle that was sold.
  4. A bank copy of the cheque, bankers draft or postal order which was presented to the sellers bank for payment of the sale of the vehicle.
  5. The sellers copy of the V5 used to declare the ownership transfer of the vehicle to the DVLA with all appropriate sections filled out to declare the transfer.*
  6. A stamped addressed envelope addressed to DVLA, Swansea SA6 7JL
wheretobuycarsfrom.com shall at its sole discretion, determine whether all requirements for the guarantee have been satisfied and may terminate or modify the Guarantee program on a prospective basis at any time. The act of submitting a refund request does not ensure a refund will be given.

*In all cases we will forward on the vehicle's V5 to the DVLA for declaration of the vehicles ownership transfer.
